I am an Engineering Manager at Fynd (Reliance Retail), where I grew our AI platform team from 1 engineer to 9 — and I still architect and ship.

What I work on.

I put deterministic rails around the LLM. Evals and feature flags come before autonomy; access control fails closed; runbooks come before scale. It is a slow way to start and the only way I know to run AI systems that a business actually depends on.

I decide what the machine is not allowed to do before I let it do anything.

JioMart OS exists because national operations fail in predictable ways, and I built a mechanism for each failure. Alert storms became one fact record per order — incidents, not noise. Unowned failures got an attribution ledger that names the owner. Automation goes through propose, approve, dispatch, verify — with a full audit trail. And the fold engine underneath is designed for 50,000 stores, so the architecture carries headroom by design.

I grew our AI platform team from 1 engineer to 9. I was the founding engineering lead of Ratl.ai (a Fynd venture), where I led the engineering behind 100B+ LLM tokens processed in production.

— SiteOps, a catalog-health agent with tiered autonomy across 4.4M SKUs — write access is earned, not granted.
— A code migration left running unattended for five days: 1,516 Java files to 4,389 Python, at 87.6% adjusted parity — adjusted, because I counted the failures.
— LSO, a dynamic-SLA logistics platform, and AstroSure, a multilingual growth engine — both in production.

independent work — outside employment

— TraqGym, a gym-management SaaS with two production tenants and 10K+ members under management — run by an LLM ops bot that earned trust through a shadow-mode rollout.
— SquatSense, real-time movement intelligence for a Mumbai gym: pose-based biomechanical analysis at ~12 fps, six-dimensional rep scoring.
— AIAS, an on-premise AI prototype for an Indian police station: Marathi, Hindi, and English voice to FIR drafts, with PII masking and human review on every draft.
